 Sometimes I ask this question to myself, and I have been asking this question a lot more lately.  “should we allow our emotions to fluctuate or should we train ourselves to always remain in a stable state emotionally?” To be honest, its really a question of preference, I see advantages and disadvantages in both approaches.  As a man I feel like its quite essential for me to have a good control over my emotions and not let it come in my way of work. And I have been quite good at it. There are instances when I have been in a terrible shape emotionally but I did not let it affect my work even a bit. But this is what is shown on the outside. There is a famous quote, people often attribute it to Hz Ali (RA).  It Goes something like this,  “An arrow released from the bow, a word spoken out of mouth and an opportunity that is missed, can never come back”.  I find it so fascinating, We have a translation of this quote as a proverb in Urdu. It goes something like this.  “تیر کماں سے اور بات زبان سے نکل جائے تو واپس نہیں آتی۔” Which is translated as “two things never come back, an arrow which left the bow and a word which left the tongue”  I find it so fascinating, this comparison of an arrow with words feels so much right. The moon is in such a perfect harmony with the earth that the time it takes to rotate on its axis is exactly same time as it takes to complete a revolution around it. There's a scientific explanation for it, but to be honest I find it very calming and beautiful. How beautiful is it that everyone who is alive right now or has passed away has looked at the same moon and the same side of the moon every time? Its the spring again. I can't believe that its been an year since I last wrote a blog. Unknowingly, It has become an yearly tradition at this point. I promise I will try and fix that.  Did you know that there are yellow flowers of Palash? No, right ? me neither, until today. Today I forced myself to go out and see the spring flowers, Especially the Palash flowers, which I love so much. I saw a tree, with yellow flowers, looking suspiciously similar to Palash. I could not believe my eyes. Afterall, Palash flowers are supposed to be red, right? Apparently not, There is a very rare species of Palash that has yellow flowers and my village has a tree of it.  I could not help but think of this tree, its very beautiful, yet no-one seems to appreciate it. Its very special, yet no one seems to notice its existence and its very rare. I always used to think why are there so many trees of Palash in my area? What's their purpose? They don't give any fruits and neither are they big enough for a proper shadow. So why are they everywhere? Little did I know that the most interesting flowers that I would see for my own eyes would come from them. These boring, ugly, and abundant trees have flowers for about two weeks every spring. It fills the whole area with colors, and they are absolutely stunning. These flowers are so beautiful and rare that some consider them sacred. I wanted to find a big metaphor for life, but my little brain could not find one. All that comes to my mind is, "Don't judge anyone based on their first appearance. You never know what they are capable of."  Today I completed 20 years of my life. All these years thought me a lot of things. Here I am sharing 20 of those.  Peace has nothing to do with where you are or what you are doing. It is always in your head.  Be a bit scared and nervous when doing something new. The kindle is a product by the well known company Amazon. It is an eBook reader with an e-ink display and in this blog I will point out some highlights of Amazon Kindle and will try to convince you why you should get one.
