Burada, her okulun ofis duvarıda yazılmıştır. Ve sanırım ki bu cümle çok güzel bir cümle dir. Bir öğretmenin işisi en zorlanından biri iş dir. Ve en önemlinden biri de iş.

Teachers are like candles because they are a ray of hope in the darkness of ignorance and uneducation. Teachers are like candles because they are the the source of energy needed to build a successful society.

Just like we dont burn Candle only for the sake of burning it, teachers also dont work just for the sake of it. We need doctors, engineers, lawyers, accountants etc for the life to keep going. But none of them would exist without a teacher. Teachers are the people who are the first source of a revolutionary idea. They are the most Fundamental source of motivasyon. With or without students, teachers are always teachers. But without a teacher we all are nothing.

The emotional dilemma

Sometimes I ask this question to myself, and I have been asking this question a lot more lately. “should we allow our emotions to fluctuate or should we train ourselves to always remain in a stable state emotionally?” To be honest, its really a question of preference, I see advantages and disadvantages in both approaches. As a man I feel like its quite essential for me to have a good control over my emotions and not let it come in my way of work. And I have been quite good at it. There are instances when I have been in a terrible shape emotionally but I did not let it affect my work even a bit. But this is what is shown on the outside. To the entire world. I am good at it. Recently I came across this Quote by Franz Kafka. “All Language is but a poor translation”. Or as I like to say it, “A language is nothing but a poor translation of feelings”. And the more I think about it, It makes more sense. On first thought, this idea seems conflicting. We made the languages, and every culture in the world should have perfected this skill to be able to express themselves completely, right? Well, Not really. I am fortunate enough to know more than one language and I can see this gap between languages where no one is really perfect to be able to express ourselves completely.
